Lecia Stewart

President of The Stewart Group

One of Canada’s leading infrastructure and strategic advisory consulting professionals, Lecia Stewart has helped governments deliver Canada’s most significant transit projects, and assisted private sector businesses to secure multi-billion dollar contracts.

She has led ground-floor development and start-up of several large urban transportation systems; including a $1.2 billion expansion of Vancouver’s SkyTrain system. She was also President and Project Director for the region’s first commuter rail service, known as the West Coast Express. Both projects were completed in record time and under budget. Ms. Stewart has significant experience working with government at all levels, public interest groups, the media and other stakeholders. 

In 2005 Ms. Stewart established the Stewart Group and the firm consults widely on business, strategy and project development throughout North America.

Ms. Stewart is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Executive MBA program for management development.

    Travis brings extensive experience working on major transit projects across Canada. He is an accomplished project manager who excels at leading teams, coordinating between stakeholders, and keeping complex programs moving forward. A strong leader and communicator, Travis builds trusted relationships with client teams and helps them deliver results on their most important initiatives.

  • Director of Advisory Services

    Charlotte is an expert project manager who leads some of TSG’s most complex client files. She works directly alongside clients to understand their challenges, solve problems, and deliver real value on their programs. Charlotte also has a strong background in community benefits, helping clients make sure major projects leave a lasting, positive impact on the communities they serve.

  • Senior Analyst

    Max supports TSG’s consulting teams with research, analysis, and reporting across the firm’s transit, energy, and infrastructure work. He has extensive experience with local politics and government, which gives clients valuable insight into the political landscape around their projects.

  • Executive Liaison

    Devon works closely with TSG’s President and leadership team, coordinating internal operations, client communications, and day-to-day business priorities. She keeps the firm organized and connected so the consulting team can stay focused on delivering for clients.

  • Analyst

    Bobby holds a Master of Community and Regional Planning from UBC. He supports TSG’s project teams with research, data analysis, and documentation, and brings a strong planning lens to the firm’s work across transit and infrastructure.

  • Operations Manager

    Jonathan Gerow is an strong project manager with experience in transit infrastructure, sports, and tech industries. This work includes supporting the successful bid for the Eglinton Crosstown Project and working for the Vancouver Canucks. With a Bachelor of Commerce from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), Jonathan uses his business education to adapt to any challenge. Jonathan has excellent communication and presentation skills and will be a valued addition to any project.

    Rob is a former Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure for British Columbia. He brings senior-level insight into how major transportation and infrastructure decisions are made in the public sector. His experience helps TSG’s clients navigate complex policy environments and move important projects forward.

    Jan is a communications specialist and strategic advisor with more than 30 years’ experience in transportation and infrastructure. Her professional experience, technical knowledge and passion for innovation, coupled with strong facilitation skills, makes her a valued member of project teams across Canada. Jan brings direct experience relating to all stages of project lifecycle including capital plan, concept plan/project definition, business case, procurement, construction and operations. Jan is a certified management consultant.
